10 Romantic Restaurants In Providence Rhode Island

Valentine’s Day is here ladies and gents and while I’ve never been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day like most people, I do respect what it represents; the love and time a relationship requires. One has to make their relationship a priority, and Valentine’s Day is the tangible manifestation of that – even if for only one day. But we here in Providence, Rhode Island – we have a slight advantage when it comes to a romantic Valentine’s Day date.…

Our Trip To Mystic Aquarium

Every night our family goes through the same routine.  It starts with Itty Bitty eating dinner, then said dinner being flung on the ground as a sign of being all done. After that, it’s bath, brush teeth, pajamas, dim lights, read books, sing songs, and finally (more like, hopefully) sleep.  Aside from the bath, Itty Bitty’s favorite part of this ritual is reading Baby Beluga together. Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea…I sing these lyrics over and over during nap…

Long Island Wine Country

My marriage needed a little TLC. Over the past two years, I went from a regular girl, to being super busy as a television host on The Rhode Show, to being pregnant, to then giving birth to our adorable tiny baby whom we so fondly nicknamed Itty Bitty. Tall Dad and I went from being husband and wife, to TV host and bag carrier, to mom and dad, all in what seemed to be a nano-second. It was a busy…

The Best Baby Friendly Places in Rhode Island – Blithewold Mansion – Bristol

This post is part of the Tall Mom tiny baby’s Best Baby Friendly Places in Rhode Island Series. As much as I love decorating, fun food, special candies, and general merriment – holidays themselves really stress me out. It was our own version of Mommy’s Night Out at StyleWeek Northeast last night!  My friend Jamie and I got dolled up and headed to the Biltmore in Providence.  We had a great time catching up with friends, and checking out the work of local up and coming designers.  Both of our baby boys were snug and safe in their beds, hers being watched by her husband and mine with my best friend.  While they slept – we delved into…

Baby’s First Sled Ride {video}

The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found? – J. B. Priestley…

The Best Baby Friendly Places in Rhode Island – The Rhode Island Festival of Children's Books and Authors

Living on the East Side of Providence, I walk past The Lincoln School almost on a daily basis. I’m quite familiar with the all girls private school, and have conducted a few songs on their performance stage. I, however, had never attended their famous Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books & Authors…not until this past Saturday that is! This annual event is open to the public, and will surely be on my calendar for years to come! When I was…
