Last weekend was a blur of activity, filled with seeing old college friends, a fast paced visit with one of my besties and her babe for 21 hours, and a movie date night with my main squeeze.
The weather was crisp, clean and ideal for October in New England. Watching a football game, listening to the marching band, and eating kettle corn was exactly what I needed!
The drive down to the southern part of our state was perfectly autumnal. Shades of reds, oranges and yellows lined our journey. My heart was full and my face was tired from all the smiling and hugging during homecoming weekend.
My makeup look for the game day was all about the neutrals. I wanted to go a tad dramatic on the eyes, and keep the whole look classically feminine.
I used my favorite eye shadow palette #1. This palette has gorgeous browns that work well with any eye color.
I used our pencil eyeliner in Prim, a delicate light brown, and then went over the putter top half of my lash line with Proper, a darker brown.
I gently smoked out the shadows under my eye, and used Epic Mascara and our 3D Fiber Lashes ( aka our Totally Pumped Duo) to give my look that extra pop.
I tried out a new lip combo and fell instantly in love. Pouty lip liner and Luxe lip gloss. Ladies – this nude lip is so pretty! The pencil gave me long lasting color and the gloss gave me a pretty shine.
I love this look and these colors, and feel like they would be pretty all year round – but especially in the fall and winter. The finished look is cozy, warm and lovely.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of the fall – and hopefully you too can catch up with some old friends before the holiday season really kicks in.
Talk soon, friends!
